Free consultation
We will visit at your home to discuss your ideas, give suggestions and explain the process involved. We will then prepare a quotation for your consideration inclusive of fees.
Measured survey
Once you have accepted the quotation, the survey of the property will be arranged at a mutually convenient time. This will take between one to three hours to complete dependent upon the nature of the project.
Design drawings
Working with you, we will produce sketches and designs for various options for your development. This will help you to decide the most suitable for your needs.
Detailed plans
Once you have approved the final design, full sets of detailed architectural plans are drawn up for your approval prior to submitting to the planning department.
Submit plans
We will complete the necessary paperwork and submit the planning application. It could take up to eight weeks to get a decision, however, we will liaise with the planners to ensure that everything is satisfactory and keep you informed of the progress.
Building regulations
Once planning has been approved, a set of detailed construction drawings will be produced. Please note, structural calculations may also be required from a structural engineer.
Submit plans to building control
We can complete all the relevant paperwork and submit applications to building control and deal with the application until it has its full or conditional approval.
Quotations for building work
We suggest that you ask friends or neighbours for their own recommendations or use social media. Facebook community groups are a great place to ask for personal recommendations.
