Had a great experience with Rob at Yorkshire Property Design Services who designed our house extension. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout, and really listened to what we wanted. The plans he drew up were clear and detailed. We changed our minds on a couple of aspects after building work had started, and Rob helped us draw up the necessary amendment documents. From start to finish, Rob has kept us informed about our planning application. He provided detailed plans based on what we discussed with him which required very little changes. Outstanding service, great ideas and vision. We are embarking on our 4th renovation project and this time have a lot of space and scope to extend thehouse. We have used architectural designers in the past but decided to discuss our needs with some people local to Horsforth to see what the market was like and we are so glad we found Rob. He took our high level ideas (and sketches) and turned them into reality whilst also suggesting a number of full alternatives to our ideas based on his experience of the area and detailed knowledge of planning. He has designed us an outstanding house that is beyond what we hoped for, but more importantly he has designed us something beautiful and long-term. He has considered the different types of planning and designed us an extension that delivers everything we need whilst complimenting the street we live on and giving us additional options in the future if we decide we need more space. Also he has a huge list of ideas, options and ways of making things work so he can turn your requirements into design quickly and come up with things you might not have thought of. Rob has a great office in Horsforth with good parking, huge screens and nice coffee, which he uses to talk you through the changes you're proposing and, most importantly to me, he is comfortable making changes to the models and 3d mock ups quickly (in person if you want) so you can brainstorm ideas and look at them in a 3d model on screen without feeling like you're making extra work or that each change will take a few days and a new iteration of the plans. We found this incredibly useful and the end product is exactly what we were looking for as we could evolve our plans and designs with Rob. I'd recommend speaking to Rob for any level of extension or interior work on your property, he's quick and experienced and we are so glad we found him.

We've used Rob for 2 different projects now. For our current project he helped us come up with a layout that worked for what our family needed and then subsequently drew up the plans, submitted the application for planning and also liased with our builders and other contractors when needed. Rob was fantastic start to finish on our recent project. Very knowledgeable and his completed plans/ 3D views are brilliant. Took a lot of the stress out of applying for planning permission and was approved first time. Very easy to contact and always responded in a timely manner. When searching for an architect, Robs name was mentioned to me multiple times so I chose to go with him at Yorkshire Property Design. He has been great from the start with understanding my vision, helping me design & plan and drawing up & submitting all the plans. He has kept me in the loop and been easy to contact throughout. A nice man and I would highly recommend  🌟
